Mrs. Megan Brunner To All Instructors
Megan teaches Music classes at Cornerstone. She lives in Annandale with her husband Logan. She completed her Biblical theology certificate through Reformation Bible College, and prior to that, received her degree in graphic design from Century College. Today, she works at Heartland Evangelical Free Church as the Worship Ministries Director.
She has been immersed in music all of her life, beginning piano at age six. Being born in Nashville had its benefits as music was a large part of the culture—especially at church. After moving to Minnesota, she started playing piano on worship teams as well as singing. She did this with her dad and brothers, as they also enjoy music.
Throughout grade school, she took classes and was trained in the realms of songwriting, in-depth music theory, and choir. This classical training, paired with practical improvisational playing on worship teams, allowed her the ability to step into the role as Worship Ministries Director at Heartland where she has organized and led worship, spanning numerous styles and arrangements of songs, while incorporating elements of choral music within the church. Prior to this, she was the worship director at Camp Shamineau for three summers, allowing her the opportunity to work with youth and kids, all for the furthering of Christ’s Kingdom.
All this to say, it is her joy to work alongside others and to share the love of music. It is a great blessing for her to watch others grow in the God-given gifts that they possess and to watch them flourish for Christ.
